About

About Me

I'm a qualified counsellor offering a  respectful and collaborative space where you can discuss your experiences at your own pace. My approach is based on the core principles of person-centred therapy; empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. These values shape how I build trust and work alongside clients in a way that feels collaborative and supportive.

Originally from Australia, I’ve lived in Singapore and now call Switzerland home. As an expat myself, I'm familiar with the emotional and practical adjustments that can come with major life changes, cultural adjustment, and living far from familiar support networks. These experiences have shaped my practice and help me connect with people going through similar journeys.

I’m a mother to three children, and I know first-hand how parenting can be both meaningful and demanding. I work with a compassionate understanding of the pressures many individuals and families face, and aim to offer a space where people feel able to speak openly and think things through without judgement.

My Approach

I offer counselling that's flexible, practical, and grounded in an understanding of the pressures many women face - whether you're balancing work and family, navigating university life or adjusting to life as an expat.

As an English-speaking therapist based near Nyon, I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including members of the international and student communities. Many of my clients are navigating transitions - moving countries, building careers, raising families, or dealing with burnout or a loss of direction.

Sessions are available online, in person, or in your own home. I offer flexible appointments during lunch breaks or evenings to fit around your routine. For those who prefer face-to-face therapy in a private setting, I also offer appointments in my private therapy space in Crassier.

Method

I believe that therapy is most effective when it’s a shared process. We'll work together to explore what's going on for you, clarify what you want to focus on, and develop a way forward that suits your needs and pace.

My practice is integrative, which means I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, including person-centred counselling, CBT, ACT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy. I tailor sessions to each person, balancing practical tools with space for deeper emotional work.

I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step. If you’re considering it, you're welcome to get in touch to ask any questions or to arrange an initial conversation.

Approach

I use an integrative approach, drawing on a range of therapeutic methods to suit each client's needs and goals. My focus is on supporting emotional wellbeing in practical and thoughtful ways, especially for expatriate women navigating change, stress, or uncertainty.

Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all model, I aim to tailor sessions to the individual, balancing reflective work with tools that are useful in day-to-day life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer online or in-person therapy?

I offer sessions online, in-person, or in your own home, depending on what suits your needs best. Many clients find online sessions convenient and easy to fit around their other commitments. Some clients prefer not to travel or feel more at ease in their own home.

What can I expect from therapy?

In our first sessions, we'll take time to understand what's brought you to therapy and what you'd like to get out of it. From there, we'll agree on a direction that feels right to you. That plan is flexible, and can shift as new insights or needs emerge.

Which age groups do you work with?

I mainly work with adults aged 18 and over. In some cases, I may also work with older teenagers (16-17), depending on the situation. I recognise that it can be especially difficult for teens and families to find support, and I’m happy to discuss whether I might be a good fit.

Do you offer therapy to men?

Yes, absolutely. I often work with men, and welcome anyone seeking evidence-based support. I approach each client as an individual, taking into account their personal strengths, experiences, and challenges.
