Practical, Compassionate Support for
Parenting Children with ADHD and Autism

Parenting a child with ADHD, autism, or sensory processing differences can be both deeply rewarding and incredibly demanding. The strategies that seem to work well for other families often fall short, and the emotional toll can feel invisible and exhausting.

You may be navigating frequent meltdowns, rigid routines, school meetings, or simply the daily task of helping your child feel safe and understood. It is a great deal to hold, and you are not expected to carry it all alone.

When Traditional Parenting Advice Doesn’t Fit

Parenting a neurodivergent child often means finding that the usual advice does not quite apply. What works well for others may seem to escalate things at home. Daily routines can feel unpredictable, emotional outbursts may arrive without warning, and even small transitions can become overwhelming for your child and for you.

You may find yourself wondering whether you are doing enough, or how to remain calm when everything feels so hard. These questions are not signs of failure. They are signs that your child may need a different kind of support — and that you do too.

I offer counselling tailored specifically for parents of neurodivergent children. My approach is grounded in current research and shaped by the lived experiences of families navigating similar paths. Whether you are processing a recent diagnosis, struggling with daily routines, or supporting your child through emotional dysregulation, this is a space for you to pause, reflect, and find workable ways forward.

Together, we might:

  • Make sense of your child’s behaviour through a neuro-affirming lens

  • Explore practical strategies that reduce conflict and support connection

  • Create more predictable and calming routines

  • Work through feelings of stress, guilt, or burnout

  • Build emotional regulation skills for both you and your child

You do not need to be perfect. You need space to think, the right tools for your family, and support that meets you where you are.

This course is designed to give parents of children with ADHD or autism the clarity, confidence, and tools they need to support their child with compassion and structure. It brings together the core knowledge and practical strategies that many parents wish they had earlier, presented in a supportive, evidence-informed format.

Whether you’re newly navigating a diagnosis or simply looking for more workable ways to support your child day to day, this course offers a clear, calm foundation.

Over six weekly sessions, we’ll explore:

  • How to understand your child’s behaviour through a neuro-affirming lens

  • Building daily routines that reduce conflict and support success

  • Tools for co-regulation and emotional support

  • Managing challenging behaviour with structure and empathy

  • Talking to your child about their diagnosis

  • Advocating for your child in schools and systems

The course is designed to be practical and realistic; grounded in current research, but always tailored to the messy realities of daily life.
