Confidentiality & Ethics

Your privacy and trust are fundamental to the counselling process. I am committed to creating a safe and confidential space where you can freely explore your thoughts and emotions. Ethical Practice

As a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), I adhere to their strict ethical guidelines, which include maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of our work together.

Confidentiality

The information you share with me during sessions is kept confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone without your explicit consent, except in situations where there is a legal or ethical obligation, such as in cases of risk of harm to yourself or others.

Professional Development

I engage in ongoing professional development to ensure my practice is informed by the latest research and best practices in counselling. This commitment helps me provide the highest level of care while ensuring I am always evolving as a practitioner.

Respect

I am committed to providing a counselling space that is respectful, inclusive, and affirming of all identities. I honour the uniqueness of each person and welcome clients of all backgrounds, cultures, sexualities, gender identities, and belief systems. In my practice, I strive to create a non-judgmental environment where you feel safe to show up as your whole self. Respect is central to the therapeutic relationship — and I believe that genuine connection begins with being truly seen and valued for who you are.
